    This early vintage EASTERN WOODLANDS PENOBSCOT INDIAN SWEET GRASS SEWING TRINKET BASKET measures approximately 6" in diameter x 4"h...perfect to tuck into any hand woven basket or sewing display!  This expertly crafted basket for sewing accessories or other treasures is primarily a combination of thin & twisted strands of sweet grass and narrow ash weavers woven around 7/16"w flat splint in a variety of colors.  Securely attached decorative twisted handle on top.  This basket is fresh & clean and shows no stains, cracks, holes, broken, missing or repaired parts.  Some minor expected age related fading of colors on outside as shown in photos.  A SUPER addition to any VINTAGE SEWING BASKET/SWEET GRASS/NATIVE AMERICAN collection!  Buyer pays shipping costs.  Please check my other auctions for MORE interesting items!
