Antique Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain Planters
; Up for sale are a pair of Chinese famille rose porcelain planter pots and plates, dated likely 18
th
century in the Qianlong period (1735-1795). Each pot accompanied by a plate is symmetrically hand painted and gold gilt with various scenes including birds, flowers, foliage, clouds and rocks. The rims of the pots and plates are also decorated with the wave motifs in green color. All the two pots and one plate have shown under glaze the Qianlong imperial reign marks written in ancient Chinese Seal script in red.
