These customized hand-wired harnesses work well with most 2 Pickup (i.e. Humbucker-Humbucker or Humbucker-Single) Systems.
Each harness is unique and may vary in appearance from the sample images. Read all product information carefully and ask any questions before you buy.
This prewired harness features the following:
*1 Standard 3 Way Open Toggle Switch
*1 Standard 500K Small/Long Push-Pull Volume Control Pot
*1 Standard 500K Large/Long Tone Control Pot
*1 Standard 0.047 Mylar Tone Cap
*1 Standard Mono Jack
The included 3-Way Open Style Toggle Switch provides standard 3 Way pickup selections allowing for Bridge/Bridge-Neck/Neck playing options.
The switch on this harness has a black color handle and black tip (sample picture included in the product images).
These harnesses use push-pull small pots (dime size / mini pots) in the volume pot position for coil splitting. Tone pots are standard full-size large (quarter size) pots. Both pots have long shafts for body mounting. If you are going through a guard or have a non-standard set-up, you may need additional nuts/washers (sold separately) or other modification. This style of pot will work with most coarse-knurled, 18-spline style knobs (sold separately).
The Coil Split Wiring incorporated into this harness allows you to split humbucker coils in half, cutting one coil out and allowing humbuckers to perform as single coils (also known as Coil Cut or Coil Tap). Four wire pickups are required for a coil split to work. For an HS, this coil split will only impact the humbucker. For an HH, this single coil split will function simultaneously for both pickups.
Our tone control capacitors help produce balanced bass, middle, and treble.
This harness includes a Standard Mylar Chiclet Style tone cap.
Harness jacks work with standard cables only and jack sockets accept standard ¼” plugs.
A Mono Jack open-frame jack is included; this jack requires a 9mm mounting hole and tightens to your jack plate (sold separately).
Installation requires soldering.

This harness will not work with non-standard set-ups. Due to the vast and varied nature of possible set-ups and user expertise, we do not provide specific information for every possible installation scenario. The provided BASIC instructions (posted in the item images, not sent as a hard copy with your order) will get you started. Soldering is required. Depending on your set-up, you may require adjustment – DO NOT PURCHASE if the posted instructions are not sufficient for your install or if you are unsure of your needs or ability to make modifications (if needed).
Depending on your current or desired set-up, installation may require extra care, accuracy, or advanced skill. You should be able to use knowledge of wiring and your own diagram or instructions and experience to install. Note that we do not recommend installation using power tools as these can put too much force on the product and cause damage. Installation is best with moderate heat only (don’t have your iron too hot). This item is prewired. If your set-up requires you to disconnect the wires, be sure to take a picture or make note of the connections so you can reattach (solder!) properly. We do not recommend a clip/tie method for installation. Pay attention during install to avoid damage; components are sensitive. Excessive or prolonged heat can cause irreparable damage. We do not provide technical or any other type of support for installation, configuration, modification, or use of this item. Do not purchase if you are unsure of your ability to successfully complete installation.
